Chicago Area Boating Destinations
Chicago area boating destinations are divided into three separate sections. Each section can be experienced as a distinct destination or two or three can be combined for a total day of boating. These three destinations are:
- Lake Michigan is an overview of the Chicago lakefront experience with is relevant harbors and points of interest.
- Chicago River describes all three portions of the Chicago River system, including the main stem, North Branch, and South Branch.
- Triangle Tour of
Chicago waterways describes a full day of boating encompassing Lake Michigan, the Chicago River, the Sanitary and Ship Canal, the Cal-Sag Canal, and the Calumet River.
